Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) describe how you, our Customer Partners, and CS Action Group, Inc. (“CSAG,” “Actionable,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may access and use the Actionable platform (“Platform”). By using the Platform—whether directly through Actionable or via a Customer Partner experience—you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Overview and Acceptance
Welcome to the Actionable Platform. These Terms govern your access to and use of our websites, applications, and related services. Customer Partners use the Platform to host petitions, advocacy actions, and other digital experiences for their audiences (“Users” or “Participants”). Using the Platform signifies your agreement to these Terms and to the accompanying Privacy Policy. Partners are additionally bound by their Service Agreement and Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) with CSAG.
Parties to This Agreement
CS Action Group, Inc. (“CSAG”)
Platform provider that owns, operates, and secures the Actionable technology and infrastructure.
Customer Partner (“Partner”)
Organization licensing the Platform to run campaigns, engage supporters, and manage participant data.
End User (“User”)
Individual who accesses a Partner experience or interacts directly with Actionable to submit actions or information.
Each party agrees to comply with these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable laws.
Relationship Between CSAG, Partners, and Users
CSAG
Provides the software infrastructure, hosting, and security safeguards for the Platform.
Partners
Create and manage campaign experiences, content, and communications.
Users
Participate by submitting actions, opinions, or information that may be shared with the hosting Partner.
CSAG does not control or endorse Partner content and is not responsible for its accuracy or legality. Personal data submitted by Users may be accessed by CSAG (for hosting and security) and by the relevant Partner (for engagement and communication), and both parties must protect that data consistent with the Privacy Policy.
Account Access and Security
Some features require an account with an email address, password, or single-sign-on credential. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activities under your account. Notify CSAG immediately of suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate access if a violation of these Terms or a security concern is identified.
Content and Intellectual Property
a. Platform Ownership
All technology, software, design, and content developed by or for CSAG (“CSAG Content”) remain CSAG’s exclusive property and are protected by intellectual property laws.
b. Partner Content
Partners own the materials, campaigns, and data they upload. They are solely responsible for ensuring this content is lawful, accurate, and compliant.
c. User Content
Users may submit comments, messages, images, or other materials (“User Content”). By submitting content, you grant CSAG and the relevant Partner a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it for operating the Platform.
d. Rights and Restrictions
You may not copy or redistribute CSAG Content without written consent, and Partners may not host unlawful, defamatory, or infringing materials on the Platform.
Responsibilities of Customer Partners
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
- Obtain necessary permissions to collect and process User data
- Publish a privacy policy consistent with CSAG standards
- Comply with the Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and applicable data protection laws
- Refrain from spam, misuse, or introducing malicious code
CSAG may suspend or terminate Partner access for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.
Responsibilities of Users
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Use the Platform only for lawful and appropriate purposes
- Respect the privacy and intellectual property of others
- Do not attempt to interfere with the Platform or its data
Information shared in campaigns may be accessible to the hosting Partner for legitimate communications consistent with that Partner’s privacy policy.
Data Protection and Privacy
CSAG and Partners share responsibility for safeguarding User data:
CSAG’s Role
Acts as platform host and data processor, providing secure storage, encryption, and transmission.
Partner’s Role
Acts as data controller for its audience, managing communications and retention decisions.
Shared Commitment
Handle all personal data consistent with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and the Privacy Policy.

Platform Availability and Modifications
CSAG strives for continuous service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, limit, or modify features for maintenance or operational needs. Neither CSAG nor Partners is liable for downtime, data loss, or disruptions beyond reasonable control.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., payments, analytics, social media). Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services, and CSAG is not responsible for their actions or omissions.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty. CSAG disclaims all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
- CSAG is not liable for the content, conduct, or omissions of Partners or Users.
- CSAG’s aggregate liability is limited to $100 or the total Partner fees paid in the preceding six months, whichever is greater.
- Partners must indemnify CSAG for claims arising from their content, campaigns, or misuse of the Platform.
Geographic Scope
The Platform is operated from the United States and intended primarily for U.S. users. If you access it from another jurisdiction, you are responsible for complying with local laws.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. All disputes must be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located there, and all parties consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically, and changes take effect upon posting. If updates materially alter your rights or obligations, we will notify you via the Platform or email where required. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
